Perfect small, tall reading floor lamp. Base is perfect size yet heavy enough to keep in place on plush carpet. Works as expected.

Love this lamp!! The remote control is awesome! It does more than on and off! It has a timer and different brightness. I needed a light that had a small footprint for my cozy reading corner. Perfect!

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for in a living room/bedroom reading lamp. The ability to expand or narrow the beam of light works perfectly and was exactly what I was hoping for. The narrow light prevents it being bothersome and annoying to my wife's eyes and yet provides more than enough strong light for me to read by it. I actually have to tone down the light a few 'bumps' when the beam is at its narrowest and most focused... thats how generous the illumination is. The differences is light coloration are wide and useful. Warm/cool, daylight/yellow, etc. The lamp is indeed a little high as another reviewer states, but that prevents it from bumping my head when I get up and stays out of my way when reading or adjusting in the chair. Any shorter and it would be casting the light from my shoulder, which would make for an uncomfortable angle by which to read my book. I don't have any difficulty with keeping the telescoping lamp head at its exact spot either... meaning that the head doesn't slide down narrowing the beam once set.It feels sturdy, looks good, very flexible physically and with the lighting options. Very happy with the purchase. It was a bit more expensive than like items from large retailers but less expensive than others as well. I think its an outstanding value so far !

Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this lamp but after looking at LOTS, I decided on this one. Very easy to assemble and it’s a solid, stable lamp. It’s by my reading chair so I like that the controls are easy to reach if needed and I have been very impressed with the quality of the light. The base is heavy enough and it’s engineered perfectly so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over…it’s very stable. Clean, elegant look.

This is our fourth reading lamp and it's the only one with a remote. At first I thought the remote would be useless since the controls on the other three are reachable (on and off). Our first lamp is also over 10 years old and still is great. I couldn't believe we never had to change a lightbulb! So back to the remote. This lamp is one of many I've tried for our guestroom's trundle bed. It's a metal frame and efforts to use other lamps have failed. This lamp has a heavy base, securing it behind the corner of the bed. The lamp itself can be set to any angle. I lay down, propped by pillows, to read and realized that when lying down, it was hard to use the controls which are located at the top of the crook (bend), without actually getting up and turning around to turn it off. So I took the remote, put batteries in it, and it attached to the frame with a magnet which is great as one gets sleepy, just turn it off. The remote also has controls for types of light, etc. Our guests will love this. The slimness of these lights are great in every room as they blend in with other decor.

This light is perfect! It's nicely weighted for use on carpeting. It has a pretty gold finish. I needed bright direct light for doing things such as nail clipping or reading a book. It can be dimmed. And the warmth of the color can be changed. I'm so impressed with my purchase and the price was in line for the product. Oh! And easy to assemble! The whole light is a no brainer!
